When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils…
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.
[William Wordsworth]

Daffodils are the national flower of Wales. This photo was taken today at Bellevue Park in Newport,Wales. The lad licking the blossom is my grandson, Owain. Our daffodils aren’t up yet in Indiana so I’m enjoying looking at Owain’s spring.
I don’t blame Owain, sometimes flowers look good enough to eat. It is a wonderful picture anyway.
I see you noticed that Owain was licking the flower… 🙂 I was hoping that it would look like he was sniffing them… 🙂 We had a lovely day out… We are forcast a 50% chance of snow on Sunday… Hoping that it is a late April fools…
Bye for now,
Ellen
