Any day spent sewing, is a good day.

HOT OFF THE MACHINE—I finished sewing the border onto this quilt top this morning. This was another UFO (unfinished object), and now it is ready to go to the quilter. I do hand quilting but, in the spirit of getting this quilt finished, I’m sending it to a lady who does a lovely job with a quilting machine. That will free me up to finish hand quilting two more quilts that I started a number of years ago. My furry buddy, Toby, held the quilt top down while I took the photo. I’ll get a better photo after it is quilted and bound.
Looks good.
Lovely Quilt! I bet you can’t wait to see it quilted! 🙂 I felt the same way when I finished my quilt top! 🙂 That was nice time working on it round the clock whilst fighting the Civil War with Ken Burns on PBS in Aunt Louise’s sewing room!
Love ya! Keep on Keeping on!

Jacob’s Ladder is beautiful and Toby is doing such a good job of holding it down! Can’t wait to see it quilted and bound, and your other quilts as well.
You are really reminding me of all of the other projects I have in my closet. I have a king size sampler quilt I am quilting by the block as I go. And any number of needle work samplers almost finished. I need to dig and get them done. I bet it makes you feel good to see the top done.
