. . . everything in life is writable about
if you have the outgoing guts to do it,
and the imagination to improvise.
The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt.

The Story Circle Network presents a conference for women every other year. The Fifth National Women’s Memoir Conference will be held at the Wyndham Hotel, Austin, Texas on February 5-7, 2010.
I’m honored to be presenting one of the workshops—Lifewriting Online: Blogging for the Faint of Heart. This will include information from the online course I teach about how to start, set up, and customize a blog.
Hello Katherine:
I look forward to seeing you in February in Austin (and like “Mary Ann” I hope to sit on the front row too). Your blogsite(s) are so lovely…I look forward to making mine more presentable–at least in time for the Story Circle Network conference !
Thanks for your help and encouragement.
Great! I plan to attend, and will be on the front row in your workshop! My 2 blogs are surviving, thriving because of your encouragement and teaching, so I will love just meeting you and asking you lots of questions!
Are you driving down or flying? You know you are always welcome to stay with me and I will drive you from here to Austin.
that is super cool. i did not know you were that into it! i think of you as the knitting instructionist who likes to travel with her grandson. hahhahahaha!
the Sylvia Plath quote is good for me to read and very true. I get so discouraged some days. I love writing, always have, but never had the confidence to pursue it full time. Blogging has helped a lot but I’m now beginning to get bogged down by that…less interest in my blogs and it’s frustrating. Of course, having a real job does get in the way. hahaha!
How exciting! I didn’t even know there was a story circle network. I’ll have to look it up. Thanks for sharing!
